Speed Tweaks and Tips
Hard Drives

One of two cache managers recommended in this issue's Speed feature, CacheBooster takes over where Windows leaves off: managing your PC's hard disk cache settings to keep drive accesses to a minuimum. CacheBooster is pre-configured for common PC uses, although confident users can roll their own settings. This utility works only with Windows 95 and 98; if you use Windows 98SE, Me, 2000 or XP, we suggest Cacheman.
